RIDE FOR THE TRAILS
We all ride for different reasons. Great trails in a beautiful location makes for an awesome experience.
Alpine Community Plantation does a lot to make this possible for the many locals and visitors to Bright. But they can always do with more help, so that's why we need you to ride 5Zero!

Alpine Community Plantation (ACP) is a community-led not-for-profit which allows recreational activities to take place within the pine plantations of the Alpine Shire. The plantations in our region are on private land, however, the custodian of these pines (HVP Plantations) permits ACP to use the land for activities such as mountain biking, paragliding and trail running, provided ACP manage these activities safely and in close communication with HVP's daily operational activity. This oversight is a vital requirement for allowing recreation to occur, and for ACP to administer the day-to-day running and communications, it relies on the financial support of its partners and recreational user groups.
ACP needs regular funding for trail and road maintenance (primarily at Mystic Park in Bright), signage, repairs and new infrastructure, administering events, communications between user groups and HVP, and for the regulatory compliance needs of maintaining a not-for-profit.
To ensure the smooth running of all recreational activities, ACP works closely with user groups such as the Alpine Cycling Club and the North East Victoria Hang Gliding Club, as well as the Bright Chamber of Commerce, Alpine Shire Council and HVP Plantations, all of whom have a seat on the ACP Board and hence have a say in recreational development in the pines.
